Anne Kansiime’s sister, Shine Omukiga has landed her first UK gig.
Shine Omukiga will perform in the UK for the first time this weekend at the AfrikaFest. The “Obulimi” singer could not hide her excitement about the gig, saying; “When God opens a door for you, He opens it even wider so that those who never believed in you can watch Him make you great!! Can’t wait to share my very LOCAL home cooked music with London people. I packed my bags already just in case you have any doubts.”
Meanwhile, Shine Omukiga will share the stage with legendary South African singer Yvonne Chaka Chaka who will headline the fest. There will also be performances from comedians, Anne Kansiime, Emmanuella and Eddie Kadi.
Afrikafest is an annual social-cultural festival that seeks to promote, support, showcase and celebrate Africa’s talent. It will take place on Saturday, 19th November at Copper Box Arena in London.
