Comedienne Anne Kansiime will perform alongside legendary singer Yvonne Chaka Chaka in the UK later this year. Kansiime will join Chaka Chaka for Afrikafest that will be held in London on 19th November.
The development was announced by Kansiime’s manager in a statement shared on social media.
“Grajoh Talent Management/Public Relations is delighted to announce that Uganda’s, Africa’s Favourite & Top Comedian Anne Kansiime will join Yvonne Chaka Chaka – Princess of Africa – Highlight artist with her full band from South Africa- at Afrikafest 2016 to be held in London Nov 19th at the Copperbox Arena, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.”
Afrikafest is an annual social-cultural festival that seeks to promote, support, showcase and celebrate Africa’s Talent.
Meanwhile, Kansiime will also be looking forward to nurturing her newfound friendship with Chaka Chaka after she invited the South African music star for her mega show in Uganda early this year.
