Anne Kansiime

By Stuart Kagoro

What a year this has been for Ugandan comedienne Anne Kansiime. From Harare to Toronto to Dallas to London, the funny daughter of Kabale has been on a roll; exporting Ugandan-bred comedy to the world.

Kansiime’s most recent outing was in Zimbabwe at the 7Arts Theater in Avondale, Harare where she put up an electrifying rib-cracking performance.

And, if her recent post to Facebook is anything to go by, she is set for more glory before wrapping up this year.

In a heartfelt Facebook post to her fans, Kansiime said;

“My Ninjaz! I never stop thanking you. Those I have visited so far, you are awesome and I hope to be back. Meantime cant wait to see you in;
USA Washington DC November 27th,
New Jersey November 28th
South Africa December 05
Kenya December 12th.
Of course next year is just around the corner and my world tour will continue.”
