Fast-growing comedienne, Anne Kansiime seems to be the best Uganda’s comedy export in recent years. The funny girl from Kabale has been nominated alongside legendary South African comedian Trevor Noah, who went in Jon Stewart’s shoes, in African Entertainment Awards USA.
Another nominee is Nigeria’s funny man, Basket Mouth. The trio will tussle out for the big prize. The nomination comes when Ugandans are being nominated for different awards around the globe.
