A recent survey published by New Vision unveiling Uganda’s top celebrities saw female comedian Anne Kansiime beat several bigwigs in the entertainment circles to nail the top gong. The findings ranked comedienne Anne Kansiime the most sought after local celebrity.
Even when the findings may raise eyebrows, Anne Kansiime has undoubtedly had her best year yet in her career as a comedian. She has not just performed at several arenas all over the world, she has also had sold out shows at some of these arenas. She has even scooped several awards. To top it all off, she now commands her own TV show on one of East Africa’s top TV stations – Citizen TV.
Well, after all these achievements, a popularity contest win would certainly invoke so much happiness that even the funny lady herself can not contain.
On learning of the landmark, the seemingly elated Anne Kansiime, as has been the norm, just could not hold back sharing with her ‘ninjaz’. The comedienne with palpable joy wrote on social media;
