Ugandan comedienne Anne Kansiime has for the second year running been named among the top 100 Most Influential Young Africans, in a list compiled by Africa Youth Awards.
Anne Kansiime, who received the same honour in 2016, is recognized for using her outstanding talent to inspire the youth. She has expressed excitement about the nod stating, “Congratulations to us Ninjas we made the cut 100 young people in Africa who are believed to be influential. You my ninjas have made us all famous! Let’s continue to live on the brighter side if life.”
The pint-sized funny woman was named in the list alongside fellow Ugandan comedian Teacher Mpamire. The two join a rich list of individuals from across the content pursuing careers in an array of fields from business to politics to entertainment, name it who have become role models for the youth in their communities.
The Africa Youth Awards aim at recognizing the achievements of young Africans, young change makers on the continent and beyond.
