Uganda’s celebrated comedian, Anne Kansiime, was very impressive with her unending, terrorizing and hilarious jokes that excited the crowds at the “2Beloved” inaugural in London where she was the emcee.
The inaugural gala was held at Croydon park Hotel in London on Saturday, 24th August, 2013. “2Beloved” is an initiative project to create a community of married, engaged and dating couples to share experiences and blessings in love with a sole purpose & mission of reviewing and strengthening these relationships through innovative and creative events and it was initiated and founded by Mr. & Mrs Mujungu.
“An additional event, dubbed 2Beloved Extravaganza will also be held next year and part of the proceeds will go to causes identified by the community’s members,” said Mr Mujungu.
The couples shared guest testimonies from various couples who have had an experience in relationships with longer years. There was awarding of prizes for the Five couples including Mr and Mrs Mutebi from Rothwell, Northamptonshire who won separate five nights fully paid stays at Kigezi Forest Cottages and so was Mr and Mrs Opolot from South London who also won the coveted prize of a 3 night all-paid stay at the Luxurious savannah hotel in Kanungu owned by Mr Musinguzi Garuga.
Meanwhile, the audience was treated to a red carpet with a 5 star experience and an impromptu performance from Kyontugiire Gladys, Miss Uganda UK, who thrilled the guests with Azonto rendition.
