Don’t mess with Kansiime! This is no laughing matter. Comedian Anne Kansiime is not happy with Uganda Telecom. She has dragged the telecom company to court over use of the advert in which she features fellow comedians.
She claims the contract part period for use of the advert expired in 2012 but it has been resurrected again this year.
The comedian says she been in contact with UTL since February but they have kept saying “they will look into the matter”. The comedian, through her lawyers, has filed a law suit demanding Ugx 100M in compensation.
