Humanitarian singer Angella Katatumba who was recently invited to attend United Nations’ first ever World Humanitarian Summit, will also perform at the event which is slated for 23rd and 24th May 2016 in Istanbul, Turkey.
Angella will entertain up to 5,000 participants expected, including Heads of States, representatives of crisis-affected communities, business leaders, heads of multilateral organizations, international and national NGOs, youth representatives, diaspora, military and academia.
This comes months after the philanthropist singer, through her charity Organisation, the Angella Katatumba Development Foundation (AKDF), donated Ugx 10 Million to Mulago Hospital to purchase a Phototherapy Machine and a Syringe Pump. These machines are already saving the lives of 60 premature babies every week at Mulago Hospital.
Angella has also partnered with the Uganda Bikers to fundraise funds for the Mulago Cancer Institute.
