All is not well with Kampala Sun writer Solomon Muleyi after he was threatened with a law suit for allegedly tarnishing the reputation of musician Angella Katatumba.
Through her lawyers Mulindwa and Athiang advocates, Angella intends to sue the journalist in question for endless defamation.
Its said that in Solomon’s articles he wrote that; Angella is being played by Jack Pemba with Desire Luzinda, she failed to pay for clothes she bought and she has sunk so low. According to Angella’s lawyers, this has affected her business as her former clients have now shunned her.
Therefore they intend to sue the Kampala Sun for Ugx 220M in damages and legal fees and also demand a front page apology in the same paper with in 5days on receiving the letter.
Angella says that she had never gone head on with any media house for writing false information about her but this time she was compelled to seek legal redress because Solomon first called her for her side of the story but to her surprise the paper published totally a different story.
