[showmyads] Sensational diva with a big heart for the needy, Angella Katatumba has maintained a startling lead as Uganda’s most popular artiste on facebook, the world’s and Uganda’s most active social media site with 1.1billion and estimated 600,000 users respectively.
By the time of writing this, the “lets go green” singer was only 1,680 fans short of hitting the 200,000 fans landmark to her official page. Statistically, the current number doubles the number of fans in a survey we carried 3 months ago and translates to about 30% of native Uganda’s on Facebook.
Coming second is Bebe Cool, the artiste with the most viral Facebook updates celebrating 1740 new fans a week after hitting 100,000 mark. We shall soon publish the latest online standings of your favourite local artistes across the social media spectrum. Celebrating the online community is the new trend in town, Angella we are waiting.
