ANGEL DI MARIA may have handed Manchester United a possible injury blow after he was pictured holding an ice pack on his groin.
The £59.7million man was substituted in the 76th minute at the Hawthorns last night as he made way for Ashley Young.
Di Maria had impressed in United’s 2-2 draw against West Brom and set up Marouane Fellaini for his equaliser shortly after half-time.
But Di Maria came off 14 minutes before the end and he appeared to be in some discomfort.
After taking his place on the bench, Di Maria winced as he put an ice pack on his groin.
Though United have a number of players out, Di Maria’s absence would be felt the hardest if his injury does prove to be serious.
Di Maria has been in splendid form this season, scoring three goals and assisting four more in five games.
