Fast raising male vocalist Ntege Dolton famously known by stage names, An-known Prosper has applauded legendary singer Jose Chameleone for successfully maintaining his presence in the music industry for all this long.
Chameleone, whose career sparked in 1996 as a DJ at the Missouri night club in Kampala, then later signed to the Kenyan record label Ogopa Deejays, which released his first single, “Bageya” that featured Kenyan artist Redsan, has since edged the top slots of Uganda’s music industry, moreover Africa.
His unfound career and talent has over the years been a dream for multiple young talents, like An-Known.
Taking it to his Twitter on Wednesday, An-Known proved mesmerized by Chameleone’s ability to survive and maintain his brand in such a complicated music atmosphere throughout these years.
“Dear Dr Jose Chameleone how did you deal with this twisted industry for all these years??? champion you are the history and the present magic of Ugandan,” A tweet from An-Known reads.
Throughout the years, Chameleone has had record selling albums like; Mama Mia, Mambo Bado, Jamila, Kipepeo, Bageya, Shida za Dunia, Bayuda, and Njo Karibu.
Although his music is popular all over the African continent, the majority of his fans/listeners are mainly from the central part of Africa (Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania).
An-Known Prosper is famously known sparked to limelight in 2021 with his song “Radio call.9”.
