Ugandan singer An-Known has come out with serious claims against popular music producer, writer, and singer Daddy Andre.
In a recent statement, An-Known revealed that Daddy Andre took full payment for studio recording services but failed to deliver the promised work.
“Daddy Andre took my money and he disappeared and didn’t deliver,” An-Known said.
An-Known explained that in Uganda’s music industry, it is common practice for artists to pay only a portion of the studio fees upfront—usually half—before the work begins.
However, in this case, Daddy Andre allegedly demanded full payment before starting the project.
Despite making the full payment as requested, An-Known claims that neither he nor his team received the expected work from Daddy Andre, and efforts to follow up have reportedly been unsuccessful.
The news has stirred debate within the Ugandan music community, with many questioning the fairness and professionalism of such dealings.
So far, Daddy Andre has not responded publicly to the accusations.
