Amooti Omubalanguzi, a legendary figure in Uganda’s comedy scene, recently shared a glimpse into his humble beginnings in the industry.

Reflecting on his early days during an interview on NBS TV After5 show, Amooti revealed that his first highly paid salary was UGX 10,000 per day.

Known for his role as the founder of the popular comedy group, The Amarula Family, Amooti has been a key figure in shaping Uganda’s comedy landscape.

For over two decades, he has stood the test of time, consistently entertaining his fans with his unique humor and charisma.
