Sports Club Villa’s head coach ‘Omulangila’ Sam Ssimbwa claims he is tired of hooligans at Villa Park and may soon be on his way out of the club.
Ssimbwa joined the Blues early this season taking over from Steven Bogele who had been relieved of his duties to go for a footballing course in South Africa.
“I’m tired of these hooligans. They are always looking for an opportunity to attack me. They link me with KCCA every time we (Villa) do not win,” Simbwa told the New Vision.
Ssimbwa says he is tired of the fans that have continuously linked him with a return to his former club KCCA where he served in 2002 and 2009 despite his commitment to the 16-time record champions.
“I have talked to the president (Ben Misagga). I don’t think this should continue. I’m doing a job and I don’t want them (fans) to keep saying that I’m preparing grounds for KCCA to beat Villa. I have a contract at Villa and let them allow me do my job,” he further remarked.
Villa are currently in second spot on the league table with 40points and just four behind the table leaders Vipers who are still unbeaten in the league this season. Their last game against Police fc ended in a one-all draw which left many fans unhappy about the result.
Ssimbwa was also recently reported in a cold war with the lost Brazilian Steven Bengo.
