Uganda Sand Cranes head coach Harunah Kebba has acknowledged how lucky he was to have watched the Black Sharks play ahead of their clash with Uganda in the Africa Beach soccer championship qualifiers this weekend.
Ghana’s national beach soccer team will clash with Uganda for a slot at this year’s CAF beach soccer finals that will be played in Seychelles next month.
Kebba was able to watch videos of Ghana lose to Nigeria by 2-5 and to Mozambique by 1-2 before going ahead to thrash this year’s hosts of Seychelles by 8-2 in their third match during the Beach Soccer African Trophy in Durban, South Africa over the weekend.
“I was really very lucky to watch Ghana play before our fixture. Yes they have the physical advantage as big players but we have more resilience and speed than them. In all the three matches they played, they couldn’t keep their pace beyond the second period,” Kebba told New Vision.
The 24 player squad was recently reduced to 15 players with charges for the tie set to 10,000/- per head.
