The month of love is upon us. Musically, our catalogue is full and we are spoilt for choice.
“Am in love” by Radio and Lilian is a mediocre effort to express their emotions. It is rather a blatant rip off of old school Jamaican dancehall music with lyrics haphazardly fixed here and there.
Radio attempts to sound a Weasel and he miserably fails to be artistic. Lillian takes the role of singing the chorus. She literally shouts out loud. As such, the song is loud, verbose and lacking any romanticism. This is a kind of song that makes sense when you are near drunk and out of senses to judge what kind of music is worth listening to.
If your lover is the kind that sips sachet waragi, wears loud make up and dons green leggings and yellow tops, this is the song for her.
