RnB star, Allan Toniks is in studio cooking and his fans can look forward to a big music serving soon.

We have learnt the “Akahama” hitmaker is working on his first ever studio album.  Titled “AWO”, the crooner has been giving his fans a sneak peek into the making of the album on his social media platforms.

According to  Jeremiah Ainebyona, the artiste’s PR manager, the album is being produced under the Evoke Uganda label in collaboration with various producers and is set to be officially launched early June this year.

Jeremiah further noted that, “Toniks is an extremely talented artiste. This new album is not only going to showcase his vocal abilities but also his writing and production skills.”

Toniks is expected to explore a love theme and stay true to his RnB roots with his debut album.

Speaking about the project, Toniks revealed that during the COVID- 19 lockdown he had so much time on his hands since he was no longer doing any shows so he spent his days making music.

“Personally, I spent so much time in studio during lock down and I found myself with many songs that I feel like releasing now.” Toniks said.

Toniks broke out onto the music scene in 2008 with his first song Beera Nange. Since then, he has released multiple hit singles such as Nzewuwo, Swag meter, Ningyenda Yoona, and Tukyekole among others.
