With just hours to Vinka’s maiden concert, preparations to the long-awaited show have been completed and fans encouraged to come early to experience a show like no other.
While addressing the media at Cricket Oval, Vinka together with Swangz Avenue the event organizers, promised to transform her career-spanning catalogue into an epic music production anchored by exceptional live performances and surprises.
Vinka’s hits have shaped Kampala’s party life. With Uganda Waragi and Bell Lager backing the night as the event’s official beer and spirit sponsors, the Live and Loud concert is set to redefine the city’s entertainment calendar.
“This long-awaited concert is a celebration of Vinka’s humble beginnings as a dancer to a music powerhouse whose party anthems have dominated the Ugandan sound waves,” said Julius Kyazze CEO Swangz Avenue.
“This concert is a tribute to everyone who has danced, sang and stood by my side since day one,” added Vinka.
Roy Tumwizere, the Brand Manager for Core Mainstream Spirits at UBL, expressed the brand’s excitement to support the star’s shining moment saying, “Vinka music is the definition of Ugandan spirit, lively, bold and undeniably loud. As the spirit that binds us, we are thrilled to celebrate this milestone with her. Expect an unmatched Uganda Waragi experience with Vinka come Friday.”
Bell Lager also joined the concert as beer sponsor last month to give fans a full night of celebration. Lillian Kansiime, Brand Manager for Bell Lager, explained why the brand chose to back the show.
“Bell Lager has always stood for enjoyments and celebration. Vinka’s journey mirrors our own story of home-grown pride and excellence. We’re proud to raise a Bell with her fans this Friday and toast to a night Kampala will remember,” she said.
Attendees will be treated to Cocktail bars pouring signature Uganda Waragi cocktails and beer offers all night long to keep the energy high along showstopping photo booths designed to capture the night’s vibes. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy surprise performances, DJ sets, and incredible offerings that transform this into a Live and Loud festival experience.
