The much anticipated arrival of Tanzanian singer, Ali Kiba, for the 15th edition of Blankets and Wine Kampala has come to pass. Ali Kiba arrived in the country on Thursday evening.
Set to perform this Sunday, 18th December at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Ali Kiba will be headlining the last Blankets and Wine event of the year alongside The Mith, Jemimah Sanyu, Giovanni Kiyingi and DJ Naselow.
The Tusker Malt Lager sponsored quarterly picnic-style event is organised by House of Deejays and is set to go down as one of the best events of the year when revelers flock Lugogo Cricket Oval this Sunday.
“I am here to have a good time with my fans. Everyone who loves afro fusion music should come join me and have a good time. It is going to be a great show,” said Alikiba.
Fans will be looking out for some of his famous songs such as; “Mwana”, “Aje”, “Chekecha tua”, “Cinderella”, “Nakshi Nakshi”, “Usiniseme”, “Dushelele” and “Single Boy” among others that have skyrocketed Ali Kiba to top charts as well as win awards like the MTV Europe Music Awards as Africa’s Best International Act.
The Tanzanian born sensation whose full names are Ali Saleh Kiba is not only a singer but also a songwriter, dancer and actor.

Entrance fee is 100,000 UGX and gates open at 12:00pm.
