The Fangone Forest CEO, Alien Skin says he turned down a collaboration with Bobi Wine.
Alien Skin whose music related much with the ghetto people was seen as someone who walks in Bobi Wine’s image and would probably fill Bobi Wine’s void in the music industry.
During an interview with Baba TV, Alien Skin revealed that Bobi Wine sent some of his boys to Fangon Forest quarters and asked for a collaboration with the Fire Base Crew President but he turned the request down.
In his defence, Alien said that he turned the offer down as he didn’t want to “jump steps” in his career because collaborating with Bobi Wine would be the peak for any artist and there would be no one else left to sing with with the same influence as Bobi Wine.
He further disclosed that the NUP camp did many things to lure him into joining them but he turned all the approaches down.
Well Bobi Wine complimented me and said that he loves my music. He even sent some of his boys asking me to hit studio with him but I refused. This was not good for my career because I would have jumped too many ladders. Imagine if I did a song with Principal, who would be left for me to sing with. Besides I sing with who I want. NUP did many things to lure me to them but I refused to become political. They even got to a point of calling me Ghetto President.

He disclosed that this was the same reason Pallaso assaulted him — apparently he refused to do a song with him.
The list doesn’t stop there, he adds that he turned down Diamond Platnumz as well when he came to Uganda to perform at Comedy Store and his reason was that he can’t allow to collaborate with someone who has had collaborations with Davido, Patorankings, and others as it’d indicate that he fell off.
