Alien Skin is facing robbery charges following an incident in Makindye Division, Kampala. The state prosecutor informed the court on Wednesday that the alleged crime occurred on September 28, involving the robbery of Salim Mubiru.

According to the prosecution, Alien Skin stole an iPhone 15 Pro worth Shs3.5 million, Shs480,000 in cash, and a wallet containing a national ID. The charges were filed under sections 206 and 267 (1)(14) of the Penal Code Act.

The artist denied the allegations, but the state prosecutor, Henry Twinomujuni, assured the court that investigations were complete. He, however, requested an adjournment to proceed with the case.

Trial Grade One Magistrate Esther Adikini remanded the singer until December 9, when the case will be mentioned again.

The victim, Mubiru Salim, expressed relief after the court session, describing the incident as a harrowing experience. “It was a traumatic experience, but I am glad the authorities have taken action. I hope justice will be served,” Mubiru said in a statement.
