Alien Skin and his bodyguard, Julius Mugabi, also known as Julio, have been granted bail after being accused of causing grievous harm to security and medical personnel at Nsambya Hospital earlier this month.

The duo appeared at the Makindye Magistrates Court on Thursday, 28th November 2024, for the second hearing of their bail application, which was initially denied earlier in the week.

Fans and fellow artists showed overwhelming support for Alien Skin by attending the court session.

The presiding judge granted bail under strict conditions, including a cash payment of UGX 1 million for each of the accused and UGX 5 million for their sureties.

Additionally, they are prohibited from leaving the country without court permission and warned against interfering with the victims directly or through social media.

The case is scheduled to return to court on 13th January 2025 for further proceedings. Alien Skin and his bodyguard face allegations of assaulting medical staff at Nsambya Hospital, an incident that has drawn public attention.
