A few weeks ago, a Ugandan celebrity especially in the area of sports, Aldrine Nsubuga survived a fatal accident that every one thought would claim his dear life. But for the abundant mercies from above, Uganda’s best and finest soccer analyst is still alive and kicking after several days of nursing the injuries.
This happened on the 13th of November along Wilson road as he tried to cross and get into his car. He narrated his sad story and this is what he says really happened at the scene: “I was on Wilson Road. I was crossing to the opposite side of the road, when out of nowhere, a car hit me from the blind side (since the road is a one way). It threw me in the air and I crashed to the tarmac hitting my head and backside. The car stopped immediately and bystanders and motorists rushed to the scene to help….”
Nsubuga thanked the onlookers who were at the scene for the concern. “I was rushed to Case Hospital and a CT Scan & Xrays were taken and examination to assess the impact and condition. I did suffer head injuries, but did not have any broken limbs or blood clots and the brain was found to be normal.”
“The #SamsungTwitterParty is back! Get ready to party the night away come 19th December at Zone 7 with fellow tweeps. Entrance is 15,000shs. Call 0775439894 for details. Great music and drinks.”
And this seems to be his turning point to God, and Nsubuga has sworn to the heavens above to be a church going fella since God saved his life. “…by all accounts I should have died on the spot. I am here to testify that there is a living God and miracles do happen. I will never be able to explain that I’m alive and well as though nothing ever happened.”
Rumor has it that according to the way he comments about football governing bodies, its likely it could have been a stunt to vanish him from the face of the earth but all glory goes back to God that he can still do his job.
