Just hours away from the first ever free Bobi Wine charity concert dubbed “Akalimu Charity Concert” featuring Jamaican dancehall star Mr. G, a top local radio presenter has expressed fears for safety of goodies to be donated at the concert.
“Please, Kamwokya firebase boys, dont use the donations to update your wardrobe with designer jeans”, he passed his plea.
He went on to mention a few names he suspected. These include Kabaya, Banjoman, whom he asked to be closely watched or they become the “unknown needy”.
However, the claims have been rubbished as a stale sense of humour.
According to organisers, the donations is not property of Firebase but will be in custody of Red Cross Uganda, which is using Bobi Wine as a face to pull crowds to donate to the needy.
The show is on tonight at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
