The wrangles between late AK47’s widow Maggie Kaweesi and the Mayanja family seem to have taken a new twist and the war may not end soon.
According to our sources, Nnalongo Maggie recently revealed how she will not settle in late AK47’s house located in Sseguku indicating that the Mayanja family hates her. Maggie says it hurts her that the Mayanja family hates her so much to the extent of calling her a fool yet she even contributed her money on the construction of AK47’s house.
“I decided to leave Seguku a few days after the burial and went to stay at my parents’ home but later they decided to rent for me a house of shs 1M in Kiwatuule and they have been paying the rent bill. Personally, I don’t have any problem with Mzee Mayanja but I don’t know why his family hates me,” Maggie said.
She said all this after Humphrey, one of Mayanja’s son living abroad, attacked her on his page after he posted that it’s better to buy a car or booze and enjoy it with your friends than marrying a foolish lady.
However, according to Mzee Gerald Mayanja, Maggie was invited to come and settle in the house with her kids after it was completed but she refused leaving him wondering where she gets all this hatred from.
“I also requested her to give me the elder son such that I take care of him at my home but she rejected my idea and I have tried to contact her several times but surprisingly she can’t even pick up my calls and we are organizing a family meeting to solve these issues,” Mzee Mayanja said.
Maggie says that she has already acquired land worth shs 20M in Kitende where she plans to build her own house and settle there with her kids.
