The myth is that women take longer to heal from heart breaks than men, but that’s not true. Again and again, there’s evidence that actually men take longer to heal, AKAY is one of those real life examples. The heart-broken man, whose girlfriend was stolen by his brother Weasal and introduced in record time, has decided to open up concerning the wounds on his heart over a one Samira Tura.
In a song titled Musajja Wattu done together with King Saha, AKAY sings about the love he had for this girl, the betrayal, the deceptions and the pain he’s going through. But he goes ahead to hit at his brother whom he refers to as the Bodaboda guy.
It also seems, this could open up another war of words, or a war of music between Team No Sleep and Goodlyfe music groups. In the song, Akay keeps mentioning the name Samira and showcases all the dirty sides of Samira, how she cheated, how she detoothed him and how she never appreciated his love. It’s more of a video where the nice guy’s heart is broken and the girl chooses the bad guy.
Above all, the song also proves that Jeff Kiiwa has finally stumbled on the right combination to challenge Radio and Weasal which is the combination of King Saha and Akay unlike the earlier one he had thought of, the one of Akay and Bakri.
Akay and Bakri had failed to connect musically, but with King Saha, Akay comes alive and the two are going to be a real force in the music industry. The rise of the two could probably be the pillars on which Team No Sleep could choose to build its foundation, not forgetting Pallaso and Sheebah who also seem very well together. Where does that leave Bakri? He’s as well as useless in Team No sleep.
For now, if you thought hearts sleep when they are broken, don’t deceive yourself, broken hearts are Team No Sleep, and such is the heart of Akay.
