Airtel Uganda has introduced a dynamic discount solution that enables Airtel customers to make calls at discounted rates of less than 3/- per second across all networks.

Dubbed the Airtel Zone, the discount solution is free of charge and Airtel customers can opt in by dialing *135# and press yes or ok. This will give them the lowest discounts on calls across all networks. To know the available discount for all your calls across all networks at any hour, dial *135*0#.

The launch of the Airtel Zone comes after a new call tariff 3/-per sec was introduced to customers re-emphasizing our affordability stance that has been associated with Airtel for a very long time in Uganda.

Commenting on this latest innovation, Airtel Uganda Marketing Director, Mr. Prasoon Lal said; “As a way of appreciating our customers for their loyalty, we have introduced the Airtel Zone to enhance ease and allow people to make cheaper calls across all networks within their zones. We shall continue to provide sustainable and affordable telecom solutions for our customers across the country. ”

Commenting further, Mr. Lal said, “Airtel customers on the Airtel zone can also enjoy other affordable tariffs with bundles like pakalast & Kyabise on *149#. These plans together with our affordable international voice bundles continue to enhance our customer’s lifestyles and enabling savings for them to be able to do the things they love.”
