Airtel Uganda continues to support Uganda’s India Women’s Association.

For the 3rd time, Airtel Uganda has once again partnered with The India Women’s Association to organize the India Independence celebrations in Uganda.

Last year’s sponsorship was towards the fight against breast cancer. Similarly, this year’s event will focus on raising funds to continue the fight against cancer and a monetary sponsorship of 40 million Ugandan shillings has been made by Airtel Uganda towards this year’s run that is scheduled to take place on 19th October 2014.

Handing over the cheque at Airtel Head office is Mr. Alex Wekoye, Head Brand & Communication Airtel Uganda to Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur (chairperson IWA) & Mrs. SumanVenkatesh (vice-chairperson IWA).
