Airtel Uganda Legal Director Dennis Kakonge (L) joins staff and customers to open a new premium shop at Thobani building in Kampala.

Airtel Uganda has opened another premium shop in continuation of their efforts to provide excellent one-on-one customer care experiences to subscribers across the country.

The expansion drive which came on the heels of successful network expansion and countrywide broadband availability campaigns saw the telco open 18 new premium shops in Kampala, Tororo, Iganga, Kamuli, Soroti, Mbarara, Hoima and other major towns across Uganda during the months of July and August this year.

Located in Thobani building on Kampala Road, the new premium shop will offer Airtel’s latest range of offerings along with fast and convenient customer service in a welcoming and customer-friendly environment.

“We understand the importance of one-on-one customer service in a professional and yet friendly environment. This is the reason why Airtel has over the past few months focused its efforts on setting up physical locations across the country where our customers can be served by our professional staff,” commented Airtel Uganda Legal Director Mr. Dennis Kakonge.

“This premium shops will further strengthen our footprint in Uganda by supplementing on our already existing kiosks, mini shops, distributor locations and super agencies across Kampala,” he added.

All the new premium shops that have been opened are located in central and accessible locations with convenient opening hours and superior merchandise. They are a one-stop center for Airtel service solutions such as SIM card purchases and registrations, Airtel Money, e-recharge and data connectivity. The shops also have experienced staff in place for consultations on all Airtel’s offerings.
