Airtel Uganda yesterday recharged Lira town as they rewarded their fourth car winner in their “Re-charge and Mujje Tulumbe” campaign. Rita Nabuzaale, the lucky winner, is a mother of one and business woman in Lira.

She won a brand new Toyota Premio; one of the eight cars being given away by Airtel Uganda in an effort to rally more support for the Uganda Cranes AFCON qualifier game.

The match will take place on the 4th of September at the Nambole stadium where the team will be playing against Comoros in a bid to qualify for the 2017 AFCON tournament.

Rita who is only 23 years old was extremely overwhelmed as she thanked Airtel Uganda. “I am thankful for Airtel Uganda who have come all the way to Lira town to hand me my car. I encourage all Airtel customers to recharge their airtime; they too can have their lives changed like mine was.”

Commenting at the car handover, Airtel Uganda’s Head of Brand & Communications, Remmie Kisakye said “This promotion is designed to thank all the Airtel Uganda subscribers who have stood with the telecom over the years by offering them a chance to win daily prizes of 100 tickets to the Uganda Cranes game. We are also giving out UGX 1,000,000 cash daily and a brand new Toyota Premio every week,” she said.

“We are calling upon everyone to keep recharging their airtime accounts to stand a chance to be part of the Uganda Cranes’ road to victory. Recharge your passion all the way to Namboole,” Kisakye concluded.

Airtel Uganda has handed over 3 brand new Toyota premios over the past weeks to winners across the country. The 1st winner Ian Bukenya is a resident of Kampala, the 2nd winner Grace Twongyeirwe is from Mbarara district, and last week’s winner Amiri Sunday Kawooya hails from Kayunga district.
