African Woman Magazine has today launched a Valentine’s Day campaign dubbed Celebrate Love. This Valentine’s season you will be able to treat your loved one to a weekend of a lifetime courtesy of The Kampala Serena Hotel, RwandAir and African Woman Magazine. The Online based campaign will see lucky couples rewarded with amazing prizes including a fully paid dinner for two at one of the exclusive Serena Hotels and return air tickets aboard RwandAir.
While speaking at the launch, renowned Ugandan designer Sylvia Owori emphasised the need to celebrate love.
“No matter how long you and your partner have been together it is always a good idea to spoil each other once in a while,” she stated. “What better way to do this without spending anything. All you have to do is participate, win and let the good times roll in.”
To enter the competition, nominate a couple that you admire by sharing a short essay elaborating what you admire about the couple attached with a photo of the couple on the African Woman Magazine Facebook page.
A panel of judges (AW and Partners) will then choose five finalist couples whose stories will be shared with the audience. This information and updates will be shared on all partners’ sites including RwandAir and The Kampala Serena Hotel.
From the social media traffic and voting on the AW Facebook page, three winning couples and will be identified.
The winners will be awarded amazing prizes. The person who nominates the overall winning couple will also win big.
