Celebrated Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo was on Friday night left in tears when he received a private jet to fly him from Gabon to Equatorial Guinea for the AFCON. Kenzo who was performing in Gabon that night was sent a private jet so he would be in Guinea Equatorial in time for the tournament.
The speechless singer had this to say; “A Private Jet Was Sent To Gabon From Equatorial Guinea To Pick Me To Perform At The Grand Opening Ceremony Of The AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS,I Didn’t Know I Was That Special And That’s What I Call True Blessing With The POWER OF GOD. And Guess Who I Met Back Stage,Konvict Boss Akon And The First Thing He Told Me Is Kenzo I Like Your Song And The Kids Dancing In The Video,Tell Them I Appreciate Their Talent God bless Them mukama wamanyi banange.”
Kenzo is also reported to have met Senegalese iconic singer Akon with whom they plan on future projects.
