Singer Adele is said to be planning to walk down the aisle in the UK, following speculation that she’s secretly engaged to her partner Simon Konecki.
The Hello songstress was recently seen wearing a ring on her wedding finger, but reports suggest Adele’s plans to get married this Christmas fell through.
Adele, 28, is now said to be planning a ceremony to take place in the UK so she can finally say “I do” with her partner of five years.
According to The Sunday People, the singer and Simon had initially planned for a festive winter wedding, but the short notice meant it was difficult to get their families to the United States in time.
“As it was such short notice people already had plans,” a source revealed.
“Adele and Simon are very family-orientated and wanted those closest to them there on their special day so they decided to postpone getting married.”
The insider added: “A wedding is still very much on the horizon, but where and when haven’t been decided yet.”
It comes after the Rumour Has It star was pictured out shopping while wearing a ring on her wedding finger.
She was snapped on a low-key trip to Whole Foods while dressed in a large hat and sunglasses.
Fans were quick to notice her new jewellery and congratulated her on Twitter.
