Local movie star Natasha Sinayobye may have turned out successful as an actor, but theatre was never her first love. We have learnt that Natasha had always wanted to become a doctor since her early days in secondary school. She was well on her way to living her dream, pursuing sciences at her A’ Level, only to be derailed by her unconquered fears. The actress has revealed that she a strong case of haemophobia which forced her to dump her first love – medical practice – and opted for a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology.
“I always wanted to be a doctor. I studied sciences through my secondary school, but failed to pursue a course in medicine because I fear blood, and that is why I diverted to doing IT,” she revealed.
Although she managed to graduate, she later shelved her degree after finding her calling in acting. Natasha says she is now juggling acting with farming, but still hopes to put her IT knowledge to good use some day.
“I am now juggling so many things at the moment. But I want to go back and do a refresher course. I really want to use my degree, because technology is what is driving this world,” she added.
