After five successful events since its inception in 2013, Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs) returns for its sixth edition to be held on 7th December, 2018 at Kampala Serena Hotel.

Over the past few weeks, the team has carefully selected the nominees for this year’s event from the thousands of entries received since the nomination process kicked off last month. This coveted list was unveiled last Saturday, 27th October, 2018 at a swanky cocktail event.

According Brian Ahumuza, the brains behind the awards, this year’s list of nominees is a reflection of the entrepreneurial potential of the fashion industry.

“Every nominee on this list is not just creating, but also tapping deeply into the business potential of what they do,” noted Brian Ahumuza.

“We would like to also thank everyone who participated in the nomination process and has supported and worked with the ASFAs thus far. We therefore promise another mind-blowing experience at Africa’s premier fashion event in December,” he added.

The ASFAs aim to promote fashion and the arts, encourage ethnic diversity, and reflect a positive image of Africa.

Ykee Benda to compile list of “worst” Songs produced this year

Published

on

As the year comes to an end, people usually make a review of how it has unfolded in terms of their specific areas of life.

Something new from Shell for you. Click here

Last year, musician Bebe Cool came under fire for writing a list of his favorite top artists and songs,a list that left very many disgruntled as their favorite artists were left out, while others complained that some acts that made his list were not deserving.

Looks like Ykee Benda is picking a leaf from Bebe, only this time, he will be compiling a list of the bad songs, call them not so nice songs that were produced this year.

“Am making a list of all the bad songs this year …wait for it…bad I mean not nice songs!”

Like he has asked us to be patient, we shall do just that and keep you posted on which artist makes this ‘not so good’ list.
