Ugandan fashion guru Abryanz has declined a nomination for a local fashion award, choosing instead to endorse singer Elijah Kitaka as a deserving candidate.
Over the years, Abryanz has established himself as a leading figure in Uganda’s fashion industry, gaining recognition both locally and internationally for his style and influence.
His expertise in fashion has earned him numerous accolades, cementing his status as one of the country’s top fashionistas.

Recently, Abryanz was nominated for the Fashion Influencer of the Year award at a local event.
The category featured competition from other notable fashion figures, including Real Homie Quan, Kissinger The Creator, Fatuma Ahasha, Oscar Kampala, Sheilah Gashumba, Tay Sosho, Tazibone Solomon, Denim Cartel, and Q Senior Fashionkiller.
However, instead of seizing the opportunity to compete, Abryanz took to the comment section of the award post to graciously decline the nomination.
In his message, he acknowledged the talent of his fellow nominees and endorsed Swangz Avenue’s Elijah Kitaka, praising the singer’s remarkable fashion sense this year.
I appreciate the nomination, but I believe there are others who have really set the fashion pace this year. I’d like to recommend Elijah Kitaka in my place. Best of luck to everyone! May the best person win.
