The World of Sounds Concert at Sheraton Hotel last night was not only about music, but also about reconciliation as rising artist Aaronx used the stage to make peace with music legend Bebe Cool.
Aaronx, who was among the night’s performers, took a moment during his set to apologize to the Gagamel boss for remarks he had made in an interview last month where he downplayed Bebe Cool’s contribution and legacy in the Ugandan music industry.
Although Aaronx had previously issued an apology online, he emphasized that it was important to express his regret in person. “I want to sincerely apologize to Bebe Cool before everyone here tonight. I spoke out of turn and I respect his impact on our industry,” he said.
The young artist then requested for a photo moment with Bebe Cool as a sign of burying the hatchet once and for all.
To the excitement of fans, Bebe Cool accepted the apology and posed for the photo, signaling a fresh start between the two.
