Upcoming artist Aaronx has issued a heartfelt apology to music legend Bebe Cool following public backlash over controversial statements he made during a recent interview.

While speaking to local YouTuber Sheila Price, Aaronx appeared to question Bebe Cool’s legendary status and criticized his latest album.

The interview clips quickly went viral, drawing heavy criticism from fans of the veteran artist and music lovers who felt the young star had crossed the line.

Facing growing pressure online, Aaronx has now come out to set the record straight in a public statement, apologizing for what he called a “misunderstanding.”

“I’ve seen clips circulating from my recent interview with Sheila Price, and I feel the need to clarify. My statements have been blown out of context,” he said.

Aaronx went on to praise Bebe Cool, describing him as a music icon and someone he deeply respects.

“I have the utmost respect for Bebe Cool. He is a true icon and a pillar of our music industry. As I mentioned in the interview, he has contributed greatly to the growth of Ugandan music, and as a young artist, I have a lot to learn from his journey,” Aaronx added.

“If any part of that conversation came off as disrespectful or offensive, I sincerely apologize. That was never my intention.”

The young artist admitted that he may have been “camera excited” and not fully aware of how his words would be received.
