Reliable sources have revealed that first ever winner of Africa’s Next Top Model Aamito Stacie Queen is set to jet into the country tomorrow, Friday to a heroine’s welcome as several people await her arrival including Ugandan Fashion gurus.
According to sources close to her entourage, she is landing at Entebbe Airport at around 9:00am. The modelling fraternity is also coming together and organizing a heroine’s welcome party at Entebbe International Airport.
Aamito Stacie, a Uganda Christian University, Mukono alumni is a model who kicked off her modelling career in her early teens. The 5’11” tall model who managed to beat twelve other models made it to the last three where she was vying for the crown with Nigeria’s Opeyemi Awoyemi and Michaela Pinto from Angola, was rewarded with a mega one year modelling contract with New York based modelling agency DNA, $50K cash prize and endorsement deals from P&G, Snapp and Etisalat to mention but a few are all waiting.
Her official press conference is scheduled to take place at Sheraton Hotel on the same day at around midday.
