Whereas shedding tears is mostly associated with loss, shedding of tears sometimes refers to a celebration and this what exactly happened as fashion guru Gloria Wavamuno, daughter of the filthy rich Sir Gordon Wavamuno hosted Africa’s Next Top Model Aamito. When eyes of the two set on each other, according to a reliable source, they were over filled with joy that they held each other in an emotional embrace as tears rolled down their eyes. This was at the Kampala Fashion Week at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds on Sunday night.
Close sources reveal that Gloria Wavamuno who has been struggling with Kampala Fashion Week events for almost half a decade was so excited to host Aamito who made a mark on the fashion world early this year.
Meanwhile, among other fashion designers of the night was Natasha Kainembabazi Karugire, daughter to the President of Uganda, Kwesh designers owned by Juliana, daughter to Hon. John Nasasira, Fashion guru Sylivia Owori, Ras Kasozi and Eguana.
The Kampala Fashion Week which is run by Gloria Wavamuno, happened just a week after the Kigali fashion week which attracted international press and fashion scouts that found it convenient to stay in the East African region for both events.
