In a recent interview, Ugandan singer A Pass shared his thoughts on fellow artist Rabadaba, recognizing his talent but questioning his consistency in the music industry.

A Pass and Rabadaba

“No one can say Rabadaba wasn’t good — he was really good,” A Pass stated during a TV interview. “But because he was so good, he ran away. If you believe what you’re doing is exceptional, stay here and keep doing it.”

A Pass went on to say that Rabadaba’s moment in the spotlight has faded. “His 15 minutes of fame are long gone,” he concluded.

Rabadaba, who rose to fame in the late 2000s with hits like Bwekiri and Mukyamu, was once one of Uganda’s top urban music stars.

However, his presence in the industry has reduced over the years, with fewer music releases and public appearances.

A Pass’s comments have sparked conversation among fans and artists about staying committed to one’s craft and maintaining relevance in the fast-changing music world.
