MTN Uganda rewards customers as it celebrates 18 years of existence

MTN has today rewarded its customers as it celebrates 18 years of existence in Uganda.

MTN Uganda has carried out countrywide celebrations to mark this milestone. The celebrations included cake cutting with customers at the different MTN service centers and dealer shops around the country.

Customers have also been rewarded with 10 free minutes, redeemable on the first airtime recharge today, with the offer expiring at midnight.

According  Isaac Tegule, MTN Uganda Brand Manager, this is the company’s way of saying thank you to its customers for the continued support over the years.

Launched in the country on 21st October, 1998, the telco boasts of several accomplishments in its 18 years of service in Uganda which include; Mobile Money, a mobile telephone-based banking product; MTN Marathon, an initiative to raise money to help the community; MTN MoKash, a savings and loans product; MTN Women In Business Awards, an initiative aimed at encouraging women to harness the power of technology in their businesses, to mention but a few.
