“We make a living by what we get , but we make a life by what we give”- That is Huddah Monroe’s new mantra as she continues to give back to the society through her Huddah Foundation.
She was at it once again over the weekend as she celebrated her 25th birthday. Unlike previous birthday celebrations where her social media pages would be awash with photos of exotic trips and designer shopping, Huddah spent her special day doing special things for disabled kids at the Light and Hope for the Disabled Children Centre.
With the help of volunteers, Huddah donated foodstuffs to the children’s home in Korogocho slums, made chapatis and did other household chores, spent time with the kids, and overall put smiles on their faces.
And the kids returned the favor by singing her a happy birthday song and smearing cake all over her face.
