Local musicians Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool and Navio have received a nod for producing top-notch music videos. The musicians are nominated in the WatsUp TV Africa Music Video Awards (WAMVA) where they will battle with the best music talent on the continent.
Bebe Cool is nominated for his single “Ki Ekiganye” in the Best African Reggae/Dancehall Video category, Navio is nominated for his “Njogereza” song in the Best African Traditional Video category while Kenzo is nominated in the Best East African Video category for his song “So Good”.
WAMVA is an annual award presented by WatsUp TV dedicated to the celebration and honouring of the best in African Music Video. The platform also creates the best opportunity to judge African Music Videos from various Anglophone and Francophone thereby bridging the gap between the music industries in Africa.
