Local musicians Bebe Cool and Sheebah Karungi have been nominated in the MTV Africa Music Awards(MAMA).
Bebe Cool was nominated in the Listeners Choice Award category while Sheebah is nominated for her single “Kisasi Kimu” in the Video of the Year category.
Bebe Cool and Sheebah join fellow local singer Eddy Kenzo who had earlier been nominated in the Best Live Act category.
The MTV Africa Music Awards, now in their 6th edition, recognise and reward musicians and achievers who have made the most impact on African music and youth culture over the previous year. This year’s winners will be awarded on Saturday, 22nd October in Johannesburg, South Africa.
