Ugandan songstress Rema Namakula, who made her debut on Coke Studio Africa this year, seems to be having a great time on the show.
Thanks to Coke Studio Africa, the “Sibyamukisa” singer finally met her longtime crush Trey Songz and even shared an intimate moment with the American music star.
While being officially unveiled as the Coke Studio Africa season 4 international guest star, Trey Songz gave Rema a warm embrace and peck after she revealed that she has had a longtime crush on him.
“As I was speaking Trey got touched and guess what happens. He gives me a big hug and peck and I’m all smiles. My Ugandans I took this one for you as well,” an elated Rema said after the incident.
“Coke Studio Africa I have crushed on this guy like for ever until I got my own Trey Songs who is Eddy Kenzo,” she added.
Meanwhile, Rema was selected among the artistes to record a song with this year’s international guest star on Coke Studio Africa season 4, Trey Songz.
Trey Songz will record a song and live music performances with selected Coke Studio Africa season 4 artistes: Rema Namakula (Uganda), Yemi Alade (Nigeria), Vanessa Mdee (Tanzania), Neyma (Mozambique), Serge Beynaud (French West Africa), Lij Michael (Ethiopia), Stonebwoy (Ghana), Nyashinski (Kenya) and Emtee (South Africa).
The music collaboration between Trey Songz and the African stars will be produced by South African producer Maphorisa.
