By Robert Kayindi James

After a 10-day break, the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) finally returns on Tuesday evening with eight fixtures at different stadiums.

SC Villa host Proline FC at the Mandela National stadium on the back of a goalless draw away to Lweza that denied them the opportunity to climb top of the 16-team log. Proline on the other hand also shared the spoils with Bright Stars in a four goal thriller (2-2) at Lugogo.

Elsewhere, league reigning champions and current table leaders, KCCA FC will entertain The Saints at the Phillip Omondi stadium. The Kasasiro Boys will be hoping to return to their winning ways following their 2-1 loss to league debutants of Onduparaka FC on the road to the BetWay GreenLight Stadium in Arua while during the same weekend, The Saints lost with a similar score to Express FC.

At the Recreational grounds in Wakiso, the Kavumba derby will be on between Police FC and Soana FC. Both sides won their last fixtures by 1-0 against Sadolin Paints and Kirinya Jinja SS respectively.
