Musicians Radio and Weasel, who were at one time nominated in the BET international awards, have blasted the Uganda Entertainment Awards.
According to the singers who didn’t go home with an award despite being nominated, the awards were marred with irregularities and unfair.
Speaking about the awards, Mowzey Radio said that he feels that he has gone above the levels of some Ugandan awards and it is no surprise that they don’t see how big he is. He even went on to say that he feels that they are bigger than the awards themselves.
This comes after musician David Lutalo stung the award organisers after going home empty handed. Bobi Wine who also won an award called the organisers unpatriotic for playing foreign music at the awards instead of local music.
